Gran Turismo 5 Signature Edition Europe Detailed - £150

North America isn't the only place to get Special Editions of games. Europe will be getting a 'Signature Edition' of upcoming racer Gran Turismo 5, in "strictly limited" quantities.
As you can see in the picture over there, it's a very nice (metallic, sculpted) box of treats, containing an exclusive GT-branded 1:43 model of an SLS AMG, a branded USB key with a Mercedes Benz trailer, metal key fob, Gran Turismo 5 coffee table book, a 200-page Apex drivers magazine with hints on technique, and a leather wallet.
The leather wallet includes a competition card. This allows you entry into a two-stage contest, combining "in-game and real-world driving challenges" to win a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG supercar. A vehicle that Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi described as "the most exciting car in the world right now." Lovely.
Along with all of this, you'll also get six 'Stealth' vehicles and five 'ChromeLine' Collector's Edition cars to play with in the game, plus a dynamic theme. The pack will set you back €179.99 - that equates to about £150.

People wouldn't be moaning about a limited edition Zep LP with all that stuff in. Or about a limited edition Harry Potter... so why do people moan about limited edition game prices? How is videogames going to be taken serious until we gamers take it serious?
