Nintendo: 3DS Design Won't Change
Nintendo has revealed that the design for its upcoming 3DS handheld, revealed at its E3 press conference, is the final build and won't change before the handheld's launch.

In an interview with Wired, Nintendo's game producer Hideki Konno said "You can take this as the final shape." Where the company still had design tweaks to make when it introduced the Nintendo DS back at E3 2004, the same clearly isn't the case for its successor.

Konno also spoke about the 3DS from a developer's perspective, detailing how the technology works a bit like "a lenticular sticker where you shift it left and right and it shows different pictures." Analogue control was something that he felt was "necessary" from a developer's standpoint, and was something that Shigeru Miyamoto insisted on including.

Finally, Luigi's Mansion - there were plans to make the Gamecube launch title in 3D, but "at that time it was very difficult to realize it as an actual product on the market, because of the resolution of the screen and the separate costs of the console and screen." The more you know, eh?
