1000 new animations too. Trailer inside.

Guess what? A new Pro Evolution Soccer game is on its way, and it will come with a whole bunch of modifications and additions that will allow Konami to try and snatch the 'best footy game' crown back from EA's FIFA series.

The best way to detail this, of course, is via a new trailer, which you can see below. Of the features, PES 2011 includes a new power gauge system which will let you control the strength and position of each pass. Feints and tricks can be mapped onto the right stick for simple access, and 1000 new animations help introduce new dribbling, defensive hold-up play and jostling gameplay.

'Become a Legend' has been vastly improved since last year's game as well, apparently, and Konami has even thrown in a Stadium Edit mode that lets you create your very own pitch for use with friends and foes. Want something from the press release? "More information will be released in the coming months." We can't wait.
