Four Mini Pokemon Games Revealed
The Pokemon Mini game system from Nintendo was unveiled over the weekend. This handheld looks set to become another blank cheque for the big N.
Yesterday we brought you news of the Mini and a hands-on test. Today we can reveal four titles in development:
Pokemon Party Mini
Pokemon Zany Cards
Pokemon Puzzle Collection
Pokemon Pinball Mini
Party Mini is an action game that supports up to four players using the built-in infrared port for communication. Similar to the fighting sequences in the Pokemon series of games, but without the emphasis on adventure, Party Mini has several sub-games including boxing and ‘shake the mini’.
Zany Cards is several card-based games in one compilation title. Expect classic card games balanced with original new ones. In typical Pokemon fashion, certain elemental cards are more effective against others, water beats fire etc.
Puzzle Collection features more than 80 different puzzles for the player to solve. The puzzles usually involve tile sliding, where you have to rearrange the tiles to form Pokemon pictures. Fun for young players.
Finally, Pokemon Pinball Mini is a cut down version of the popular Pokemon Pinball. The mini version is scarily similar to its big brother and still retains the vibration feature that was built into the Game Boy version.
