UK Charts - Week 22 - Red Dead Beats FIFA

Despite a 22% drop-off in sales, Rockstar/Take 2’s wild west romp Red Dead Redemption retains the UK's games Number 1 for a third week in a row, keeping EA's 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa off the top spot.

A sporting theme is maintained at Number 3 with THQ’s UFC 2010: Undisputed drop in sales of 47% taking it from Number 2 last week to 3 this.

In terms of excitement, Chart-Track, which compiles the charts for ELSPA, points out that, "The Sims 3: Ambitions for PC is this week’s highest new entry at No6. Also debuting this week is Nintendo’s 1930’s puzzle game for DS Rooms: The Main Building at No12. Launched last week but making an entrance just in time for the World Cup is Ubisoft’s PS3/360 Pure Football new on this chart at No36."
