E3's round the corner and it is going to see the first real shots fired in the huge marketing war between Sony's PS3 Move and Microsoft's Xbox 360 Natal. Just like any real war, however, small skirmishes are already going on.
Take this posting on the official PS3 blog from Teemu Maki-Patola - CEO, Virtual Air Guitar Company - regarding Kung-Fu Live (a teeny video of which you can see below). The game is an augmented reality fighting game using PlayStation Eye and coming to PSN.
Says the Teemu, of the game's showing last week, "The reception from journalists, as well as gamers, has totally overwhelmed us!
"We also found ourselves in the middle of the rising motion gaming discussion as many of the stories call out that our game already does what Natal is trying for: Kung-Fu Live uses full-body skeleton tracking to track the player’s moves in real-time. Thus, people have been saying that our game and tech using the PlayStation Eye is stealing the thunder from Natal. LOL!"
Yeah, "LOL" indeed... except, why "LOL"? Reads more to us as "Yup, we totally got there first."
Dont know why this is news, Its been said since Natal was announced that the Playstation eye already does what Microsoft is trying to do with natal. Natal is a joke and will be priced too high for the consumer. microsofties is fearing what sony is doing and trying everything do compete.

Natal is a joke? I think the real joke are the idiots who continue to troll forums trying to downplay it every chance they get because they are insecure 14 year olds who care more about their precious consoles (most are likely PS3 owners) than going outside or talking to girls.
