Yu Suzuki has announced that his team has just about completed work on Shenmue 2, the follow up to the legendary developer’s masterpiece.
To mark the occasion Sega will be holding a Shenmue party in Tokyo on August 26th hosted by the entire AM2 team. Unfortunately the ticket allocation is strictly for Japanese punters who have pre-ordered the game direct from Sega or from an affiliated company.
As well as play-testing Shenmue 2, gamers will be invited to take part in Virtua Fighter 4 tournaments and will be showered with groovy Sega gifts. Jealous? It’s understandable.
The event will also see a guest speech from Yu Suzuki in which the great man will talk about all his major projects over the last 20 years leading up to Shenmue 2 and what is planned for the series in the future.
