The almost mythological Gran Turismo 5 is nearly, very nearly, ready for release according to auteur, Kazunori Yamauchi.
Speaking at a racing event at the Snetterton Circuit in the UK, Yamauchi told Insideline:
"Gran Turismo 5 is about 90 percent finished. There are currently around 140 people working on the project."
Earlier this year it was rumoured that the long (long) awaited PS3 title would be coming out in October. Although Sony was quick to stamp a "we've not announced a date" on top of that rumour.

90% is better than 50% i dont mind the long wait as long as its not a let down but i think the 10% is somthing like there getting the sony 3d stuff working tweaking everything all i hope is it not a let down like forza3 was i cant wait to be sitting in my racing chair with my g27 wheel in front of my panasonic 1080p tv with it

i just hope it was as good as one and two to play, yes grphically 1 & 2 were poor but i had way more fun that i did in 4 (never had 3 :P) i did love 4 though. as for forza 3, yes it was a slight dissapointmnet compared with forza 2 but it is still a very good game. oh well hopefully out by xmas ^_^
