We've all heard how computer games can be an addictive drug, but four-year-old Riley Brown got the message literally when he opened up a second-hand copy of Fight Night Round 4 and discovered a bag of cannabis inside.Riley's dad, Andy, told
The Sun that "He'd only been playing the game ten minutes when he came down with the bag in his hand and asked, 'Daddy, what's this? I checked and realised. I was horrified and took it off him straight away."
The bag is assumed to have been put in the case by the previous owner who traded it into the store. Littlehampton's Blockbuster store offered a free rental as credit, but Andy said "they didn't seem too concerned. This isn't a matter of a scratched CD or wrong disc, it's serious. They should check all the boxes before they sell them."
Perhaps just as interesting as the cannabis discovery is the fact that an adult purchased a 16+ game for a 4-year-old child to play. Looks like
PEGI truly has its work cut out.
