Kamiya: I Want To Be Forced To Make Star Fox At Gun Point
Bayonetta creator is a bit of a fan.
Platinum Games' Hideki Kamiya, director of Okami and Bayonetta, has revealed that he wants Nintendo to threaten him to make a new Star Fox game... at gun point.
His love for Star Fox - specifically, the absolutely excellent Star Fox 64 (or Lylat Wars) - was expressed on his Twitter page, after being made aware of a recent GamesTM interview with Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto. In it, Miyamoto voiced his interest in making a new entry in the Fox McCloud saga.
At first, Kamiya tweeted "If they had the team that made Star Fox 64 make it..." Which is a sentiment we completely agree with. But then, inbetween professing his admiration for the Nintendo 64 classic, he wrote "I want Nintendo's staff to come to Platinum, stick guns at us and tell us 'You guys make a new Star Fox."
The man does love his barrel rolls, doesn't he? Would you like to see a Platinum made Star Fox game - or in fact, a new Star Fox game at all? Say 'yes, definitely' in the comments box below.
