Namco has finally revealed the home console destination of its upcoming beat-em-up sequel, Soul Calibur 2.

The game will feature on Nintendo’s GameCube console and will be debuted at SpaceWorld later this week.

The original Soul Calibur, made for arcade and Dreamcast, was widely acclaimed when it was released and still stands as arguably the best 3D fighter ever made.

The game is tentatively called Soul Calibur: The Next Chapter which is a rubbish name and we hope it gets changed.

This is another arrow in the quiver of the GameCube, a console that is just looking more attractive by the day. And it’s gonna be cheap too!
