Retail 'De-Listing' PC Magazines Blamed for Total PC Gaming Death

Imagine Publishing's recent closure of paper-magazine Total PC Gaming is being blamed squarely on retailers' refusal to stock such games titles, says the publishers managing director.
The folding of the still profitable TPCG has thankfully not resulted in any staff losing a living. Imagine MD Damian Butt explains the closure as follows:
"The support from our advertisers and readers has been fantastic and it’s always a shame to close a magazine, especially one that is still profitable.
“Following the widespread delisting of PC games magazines from many magazine-selling outlets, we felt that the team deserved to be working on projects with greater future potential."
