Square Enix has a release date for Kane & Lynch 2. It also has a couple of ploys to get you signed up to the game's official website.
It's been announced that the game will be out on August 27th across Europe and other PAL territories, while the US will get it a few days earlier on the 24th.
In a bid to get people to sign up for the Kane & Lynch 2 website, there's also a promise of 'Access to heat maps once game is out'. What the heat maps consist of and whether they're actually game content is still up for grabs.
Another (possible) sly ploy to get you signed up is a message on the front page telling us the site's not working properly. "We're overwhelmed by the popularity of it and somehow we manage (sic) to break the navigation with our eagerness to add more content", the message says. But fear not! You can get access to everything on site by simply adding your details to Square Enix's database and getting yourself registered. Good one, guys...
