Ex-Team Ninja Head Settles Case With Tecmo

Tomonobu Itagaki has announced that he has reached an out of court settlement with his former employer, Tecmo. The ex-creative director for Team Ninja resigned and sued the company back in 2008 in a dispute over unpaid bonuses. Tecmo did not react well to the legal threat.

Since the litigation, the producer - famous for his outspoken industry put-downs - has not made many public statements or appearances. Today, Itagaki thanked his fans in a simple message that read; "I cannot wait for the day when I can announce to everyone the new title that I'm currently conceiving." Details of the settlement were not discussed.

Could one of our favourite rock and roll producers be sobering up? Surely not - hopefully he'll be back to his good old self once this is all over. And if not, there's always David Jaffe.
