A couple of reports have cropped up declaring that Apple has been in talks with Electronic Arts regarding the former's rumoured tablet device. Apple's Tablet (or iTablet or iSlate) is expected to be officially announced on January 27th with a launch later in the year, and is looking to be a very multimedia device indeed given other talks that have been rumoured. Not only is the company
in talks with EA regarding - we can only assume - video games, it's also apparently been speaking to Microsoft about using Bing as its search engine of choice.
The Guardian also reported that it was talking to several phone service providers.
With gaming apps on the iPod Touch and iPhone providing a healthy revenue stream for Apple, the chances that it games won't be a component of its next big thing are, frankly, unlikely.
