Quantic Dream main-man, and the driving force behind the PS3-exclusive 'noire' thriller, Heavy Rain, doesn't want to make a sequel to the game.
Heavy Rain, due for release on February 26th, is already garnering critical plaudits and has long been seen as a major coup for Sony and the PS3. However, as far as Mr Cage is concerned, it will be a one-off in terms of the current crop of characters.
Speaking to Official Playstation Magazine UK (via Lostgamer) Cage is unequivocal:
"I don’t want to do a sequel because I’ve said what I had to say about these characters and this story. Honestly, I have nothing else to say."
Of course, this doesn't mean that the game can't be extended even beyond the forthcoming Heavy Rain Chronicles DLC.
