Heavy Rain Censorship: Just as Quantic Intended

No ratings censorship, watch out Australia

Quantic Dream's forthcoming PS3-exclusive, Heavy Rain, which contains much adult content and requires no end of actual thinking, appears to have escaped censorship in the USA at least.

The PlayStation blog (USA style) proudly reports:

"We’re also able to confirm Heavy Rain’s final ESRB rating has come in at a strong M for Blood, Intense Violence, Nudity, Sexual Content, Strong Language and Use of Drugs. And for those of you who have asked, the content is exactly the same as what’s being released in all our territories, so you’ll get to enjoy it exactly as Quantic Dream intended."

Hot-Dog! And thank goodness for that. We're not holding up any hope that Australian gamers will get anything other than a hideously cut-to-idiot-shreds version though.

The BBFC gave the game a 15 without cuts, so it's uncensored here in the UK, too.

Damn, this late shift is making me lazy. Thanks for that info. Can you share a link?

Cheers
