Capcom: Wii Still Love All Platforms
Following comments earlier in the week suggesting that Capcom is losing heart when it comes to the Wii, the publisher has issued a statement reaffirming its commitment to all platforms.

"Further to comments made in a recent article on French website Gamekult, Capcom would like to confirm its commitment as a multi-platform developer and publisher of interactive software", the statement reads.

This comes following utterances from Director General of Capcom France, Antoine Seux, including the words, "for us, Capcom, the future is the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360."

On Tuesday, Capcom announced a distribution deal with Nintendo for the upcoming Wii game Monster Hunter Tri, with the announcement stating that, "Under the terms of the agreement Nintendo will be responsible for the sales, marketing and distribution of Monster Hunter Tri throughout European and Australian territories with Capcom remaining as publisher."

So, Capcom's dedicated to all platforms, but in Europe and Australia it's using Nintendo to handle many of the duties typically associated with a publisher.
