Sony Computer Entertainment has announced how many consoles it has managed to sell across the world.
Within the first quarter of the last financial year, SCE shifted 3.2 million PSone consoles, taking the total number shifted to 85.4 million since the machine launched in 1995.
Sony also shifted 4.3 million PlayStation 2 consoles in the same period, taking total sales to just short of 15 million in a little over a year.
Sony’s software shipments for last year topped 18 million for the PSone taking the total to 783 million games sold across the globe. Which is a lot.
PlayStation 2 game sales reached 11.5 million making a grand total of 49.8 million games since launch last year.
