Alan Wake, the story-driven adventure game that's taken an ice age to develop, is getting a whole heap of downloadable content to expand over time. This was the announcement made by Robbie Bach at Microsoft's Consumer Electronics Show keynote address.
While it has been hinted that the psychological thriller will be of an episodic nature, it seems that added chapters by way of DLC will continue the story long after the natural end of the disc's events.
Bach likened the idea to television show
Lost, “as written by Stephen King and filmed by David Lynch.” So a real headscrew, then.
Alan Wake looks set to finally, finally, appear on the Xbox 360 late this Summer.
