"Read between the lines" as to why he's not allowed to talk about it.

Here we go again. Rumours of Duke Nukem Forever being revived have hit the web today, following comments from Duke's voice actor Jon St. John at the Music and Games Festival (MAGFest) in Virginia.

Fielding a fan's question about the game, which had been put to rest late last year after more than a decade of development, St. John sharply replied, “I'm not allowed to speak on that subject, sir... Let me tell you [all] right now that I'm not allowed to talk about Duke Nukem Forever.”

Looking to calm the crestfallen audience, St. John added, “No, no, don't be disappointed, read between the lines... Why am I not allowed to talk about it?” That seemed to have perked them up.

Of course, the reason he might not be allowed to talk about it could be something to do with not getting fan's hopes up, or some sort of post-humous legal tangling instead of a revival of the game. But, you never know. Could happen.

Willing to read between the lines and hatch a guess yourself? Do you think that after all this time, Duke Nukem Forever should even be revived? Let us know what you think in the forum below. You can watch the video below.
