PlayStation 3 massive-online FPS, MAG, will soon be available for PSN users as an open Beta for the game arrives on the 4th January.Players will be able to take part in the 64-player 'Sabotage' mode, or the mammoth 256-player 'Domination' mode. SCEE European Producer, Elliott Martin, explained on the
PlayStation Blog that the open Beta will be global, meaning we can kick some American butt and let them know who's boss! We've already played the game, so we're quite good at it -

It all sounds very exciting, doesn't it? There's a catch though – a seemingly endless download wait. To obtain the Beta when it arrives on the PlayStation Store, one must download the 298MB program as normal, then install a patch after launching the program (38MB). Then, you've connected, you'll download the actual game data, weighing in at 1.8GB – 2.3GB.
Once you've fought through all of that, it's game time until the 10th January at 07:59 GMT.
