Traveller's Tales: More Impressed with Sony than Natal
Traveller’s Tales’ director Jon Burton has stoked the console war that will ravage 2010 until both Microsoft's Natal and Sony's 'Gem' or 'Sphere' motion controllers are actually released.

The development lead told Develop mag, "I was actually more impressed with Sony’s motion capture solution than Microsoft’s Natal".

He continues, telling MCV:

“[Natal is] exceedingly clever, but the lag on the input and lack of physical buttons is really going to restrict the kind of games that can be done with it,” he added, before going on to praise Sony’s (currently nameless) alternative.

“Sony’s solution will be cheap, accurate and will put buttons at your fingertips, meaning everything from action adventures to FPSes can be handled with the same input."

Argument in motion then.

You might want to get your companies straight before you post an article. Traveler's Tales did not make Tales of Monkey Island, Telltale Games did. They are two different companies. You even use one company's name in the headline, then talk about the other.

Cant you simply use a standard 360 controller with natal to have both buttons and motion capture...

And Sony's solution will be cheap?!? Yeah right!!

@alexhooren How do you plan on using your arms to do things (in Natal) if they're welded to a gamepad?

You are the worst "journalist" on earth.

You might want to have some idea what you're talking about before posting a news article.

@... So, basically, because this chap is talking down Natal, that makes a simple error from the gent posting this the worst journalist ever? Have I got that about right?

@Ergo How about the fact that he didn't even bother doing the 2 minutes of research on the company he's reporting on? Isn't that enough to qualify for worst journalist ever? If it were my job to post news about game companies, I think I could handle going to the elaborate lengths of finding out the name of the company I'm reporting on.

P.S. I couldn't care less about Natal.
