Sega of Japan has announced that it is creating a driving simulator other than the hotly anticipated Ferrari F355 Challenge.
The company will be producing a simulator to be used in driving schools to teach the youngsters of Japan how to drive. You may be aware that there are several simulators of this kind in existence already, but most of them look a bit rubbish.
Unfortunately, the new simulator will not feature Laguna Seca or any high performance cars. You will not learn how to best negotiate hairpins, nor will you be expected to attempt to overtake on the outside of a steep right-hander at 160 MPH.
For these reasons, you will not be seeing Sega’s latest creation in your local arcade, but you might see it in a driving school.
