So, Modern Warfare 2 comes to the UK on November 9th 2009... well, sort of. Activision/Blizzard is staging a launch "and screening", of course in London. In fact, it's going to be at Leicester Square. This is because movies are premièred there.
We are told that, "The screening will be compered by a celebrity fan of the game and give journalists, celebs and fans of the critically-acclaimed Modern Warfare series a chance to see this year’s biggest game on the big screen ahead of its global launch on Tuesday 10th November."
The November 9th event will cease at midnight plus one second (we're guessing) when HMV’s Trocadero Store, "along with a VIP launch party in a secret underground bunker" (we're guessing The Cabinet War Room or... the London Dungeon), headlined by one of the UK’s biggest male artists of 2009. We are not even trying to guess at that one, but we're not betting on Damien Hirst.
