According to, well, MTV Games, its
The Beatles: Rock Band "debuted as the top selling music video game in the U.S. for September" beating Activision Blizzard's
Guitar Hero 5. Not only that but, again according to its publisher,
TBRB was "also the #2 selling title across all genres by revenue in the U.S" for the same month.
Not only that but "over 100K downloads of
All You Need Is Love were sold in September".
According to NPD, which collates this kind of information in the USA.
TBRB sold 254,000 copies while
Guitar Hero 5 sold 210,800 copies in the period.
So, maybe last week's analysts will be
right about Xmas.
