While fortune tellers the world over can pat themselves on the back for predicting the inclusion of new characters (‘roughly’ eight in total, including T-Hawk and Juri) in Super Street Fighter IV few predicted it will come to Xbox 360 and PS3 on a standalone disc.
Other changes will come in the form of enhancements influenced by the Street Fighter IV community, online upgrades and a rebalancing of characters (thank gods!). So, the opportunity of being able to select characters during multi-player without the opposition seeing could be on the way, along with lobbies.
Due to the scope of the update, it wasn’t possible for Capcom to do this through DLC but they have said that those who already have a copy of Street Fighter IV Lite should keep hold of it for an as yet unexplained bonus.
While Super Street Fighter IV will carry a budget price tag the lack of a DLC option for the diehards is a bit of an hadouken in face.
