Bethesda is to sue Interplay and has kicked off proceedings by requesting an injunction to stop the manufacture, sale, and distribution of
Fallout Trilogy, (
Fallout,
Fallout 2 and
Fallout Tactics).
This follows the disagreement we
reported in April in which, "in which Bethesda stated its intention to "terminate the trademark license agreement between Bethesda and Interplay which was entered into April 4, 2007 for the development of
FALLOUT MMOG."
This time around, according to a complaint filed with District Court of Maryland on September 9 and obtained by
Gamasutra, this intention is now in action.
