History runs on cock-up or conspiracy. So, the idea that Konami 'leaked' the TGS floorplan is more likely to be the truth that someone cocked-up and hit a button too early. Here's the tale: Konami is usually known for their well-kept secrets and hidden announcements, so it seems ironic that on its company website it has uploaded the entire floor map for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show - before the organisers CESA have released it themselves.
The cock-up or leak came from the publisher's special
TGS-themed website here. It seems the image has been removed now, but
Andria Sang managed to keep a snapshot (albeit low quality) of the map. In it, we can see that Konami are situated in the centre of the show floor, next to a huge booth dedicated to Square Enix and Taito. Microsoft, Sega, Sony, D3, Namco-Bandai and Acquire share the same hall space.
The right hall contains Level-5, Tecmo Koei, Capcom and Ubisoft. The left hall, as is usually the case, is dedicated to publisher-themed shops, refreshments and special staged events.
Tokyo Game Show 2009 takes place on the 24th September and runs until the 27th September. Konami are showcasing
Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker and
Winning Eleven 2010 among other unannounced titles.
