Sony Scotches Gran Turismo 5 UK Release Date Rumour
SCEE says "there's no validity" to the rumour.
Rumour had it that GT5 is to release in time for the Tokyo Game Show; in fact we were going to see it on September 25th.
So, we asked Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. SCEE told SPOnG that "There's no validity to that story. We haven't announced a release date for GT5 at this time."
PlayStation focused website PS Beyond originally sparked the rumour, citing an "extremely reliable" tip-off from "a Sony official". It seems interesting that a UK release date would be scheduled around a Japanese exposition, but it is worth considering that Europe is the region most anticipating the latest in Polyphony Digital's driving simulator.

I dont really like rumours.. especially not about the GT5 release date.. They are all different, and i just get more and more confused when I see a new release date rumour.. please stop!

well if this is released before Forza, it will be a killer hit. Otherwise the PSP game will take over gt5's cover.

It is not very likely that EUrope will see it before somewhere in the first half of 2010.
Than again who knows.
