Following the announcement of Capcom’s Street Fight Alpha 3 for GameBoy Advance at E3 in May, it has emerged that Crawfish Interactive is to develop the conversion.
The legendary handheld developer has been responsible for bringing us Game Boy Color versions of Rainbow Six, Aliens: Thanatos Encounter and the original Street Fighter Alpha. Crawfish are certainly a dab hand at this handheld console lark, and the combination of Street Fighter Alpha 3’s famous gravity-defying action and the developer’s expertise should prove to be a huge success.
The game, said to be an exact conversion of the arcade original, is in the early stages of development, and a release date has yet to be specified. An Autumn 2001 release is likely, and UK gamers should expect a £34.99 price tag on launch.
