Batman himself maybe dead, but Batman: Arkham Asylum is definitely alive and kicking. In fact, Eidos' game qualifies massively for the 'much anticipated' tag.
So, it's good to see the following on the official forum:
"Will there be a Batman: Arkham Asylum demo available for download and if yes what will it contain?
"Friends, the answer is.... YES.
"It gets better: the demo will be available for 360, PS3 and PC. Zing! However, we haven't announced when yet. We're planning to announce the date and content of the demo in the first half of July..."
We can't wait.

N Batman is not dead he was shot by Darkseid's omega beam in final crisis. His body got destroyed, but his mind was sent to a different time/dimension.
Everyone thinks he is dead though. Tim Drake and Jason Todd, the third and second robins both tried to replace Bruce Wayne as Batman and failed.
So Dick Grayson, the first Robin, who later became Nightwing had to become Batman. He is kicking butt in Gotham right now

Omg I really want that demo but still I am going to buy it collectors edition not becose what it has but bacose I am a big fan of batman
