Wii and DSi: Black and White Not Red All Over

Pics here!

Posted by Staff
Remember when Nintendo was introducing the Wii all those many moons ago and pictures of it in black were shown? Well, the hardware is finally being brought out in that colour - in Japan.

Similarly, the DSi will be released in red in the Land of the Rising Sun.

The red DSi will be out on July 11th, with the black Wii to follow on August 1st.

You can see both platforms pictured to the left.

Similar versions were not announced for Europe.

Black isnt technically a colour, being the absence of colour, so technically the Black Wii is a colour - less Wii!

Now Wheres the Lime Green One.

Technically, with inks and paints, Black is the presence of all colours, not like with light (on monitors and projectors) where white is.

Paints and inks are subtractive and light is additive.
