A video purporting to show World of Warcraft playing on an Apple iPhone is causing much excitement in certain quarters. The video in question shows the best-selling Activision/Blizzard game being played via the Vollee system's client. The system - says Toucharcade - is an "application from a mobile company whose main purpose is to develop software to allow mobile 3G phones to pay CPU intensive PC applications over the network."
Following the Youtube video posting, however, any attempts to connect to vollee.com domain meet with utter failure due to a lack of name server. We're not sure if that's cock-up or conspiracy but we're seeking confirmation.
Now, the video in question - despite the Rick Astley thumbnail - looks impressive. However, as we all know it's not impossible (hell, it's not even that hard) to mock up such things. We'll hang fire on this one for now. However, you can enjoy the vision below.
