PS3 Exclusive Character in Batman: Arkham Asylum

The Joker will be playable exclusively in the PS3 version of Batman: Arkham Asylum. There you go.

The Clown Prince of Crime will be available for download from the PlayStation Network for owners of the game. Once you've got him, you'll be able to use the wacky (psychotic, maniacal) funster in challenge maps from the game.

The news initially sprung from ads that apparently went up early in PlayStation Home, but has since been confirmed by Eidos.

There's no word yet on whether the Xbox 360 will get a similar exclusive character. Frankly, it'd have to be one of Batman's allies because, let's face it, getting to play as the Riddler as an alternative would suck ass in a pompously royal manner.
