According to Dan DeMatteo, CEO of US retail giant, GameStop, there's a big Nintendo property set to have a new release by the end of the year.
Speaking to
CNBC in an interview published yesterday, DeMatteo said, "We think there will be a Nintendo key property coming out by the end of the year. They haven't given us any insight, but they have told us to reserve [shelf] space."
The article gives no more detail, but mentions speculation that this could be a
Zelda game. If that makes you worried that this is editorial that's been sat around awaiting publication since before the
GDC Spirit Tracks announcement - fear not. Mention is given to the
PS2 price cut, which happened after the GDC
Zelda announcement.
Let the speculation commence!
