A new teaser site for
Assassin's Creed II has popped up, dishing out allusions to Leonardo Da Vinci and webcam tomfoolery.
The site features a flash video scrolling across numerous drawings, including Leonardo Da Vinci's
Vitruvian Man. Also in there is a chap with a blade at his wrist that may have been grafted to his skeleton. While there's plenty to pick over, the fanciest stuff comes at the end.
If you click on a link you'll be pointed at a PDF. If you print it out, click a tab at the side of the main teaser site, then stick it in front of a webcam, you'll see a ghost hand pop up. It appears first in wireframe mesh and then, if you position your printout just right, with flesh mapped over it. There are a full five fingers and a blade on the image...
It looks like more body parts of the character (presumably the main assassin in the sequel) might be revealed. As the site is scanning your image a timer appears, while there are further unused icons down the side of the screen that suggest other images will be released for scanning...
