Biggest selling PS2 game in the States is Sega game
Once they were enemies fighting to the death for all important market share, this month Sega and Sony are best friends. The first ever Sega Game to be released on Sony hardware is officially a smash hit in the United States. The popular arcade conversion Crazy Taxi is currently number one.

The sales figures are just in from the States, Crazy Taxi has topped the PlayStation 2 specific charts with over 17,000 sales in the first week. Crazy Taxi also debuted at number four in the American all-format charts.

In Crazy Taxi you are a fearless cabbie with attitude, you're driven by a single goal: to rack up the mega-bucks in fares and tips before your shift ends.

Sega’s recent decision to leave the hardware market is shaping up to be one of their finest game plans. Industry analysts predict Sega becoming one the most successful third-party developers in the world, maybe overtaking Nintendo and Electronic Arts.
