Electronic Arts has redated the European release of The Godfather II game to April 10th.
The game is an 'open world' affair that sees the Xbox 360, PS3 or PC owner "thinking like a Don" in order to lead his crime family (or legitimate business clan) to the kind of success that only lawyers usually dream of.
The redating comes shortly after the resolution of a court case lead by attorney Betram Fields that alleged that Paramount do not adequately compensate Godfather author Mario Puzo's estate for the 2006 computer game that took its inspiration from book and movie. Puzo himself died in 1999.
