Nintendo's Best-Selling Wii Titles

Along with its financial results, Nintendo has revealed its million-selling Wii titles, complete with numbers.

SPOnG has pulled them out and put them in descending order for your perusal below. Putting Wii Sports and its 40,500,000 'sales' aside (because most Wii owners got it with their console) Wii Play, with its bundled Wii Remote (and part of the Japanese console package), tops the list. It sold a whopping 20,910,000 - that's approaching half of all Wii owners that own a copy.

Also mentioned alongside the financials was a slightly alarming release date for the DSi - "Spring-Summer" 2009. When the DS upgrade was announced, we were told to expect in Spring. Fortunately, Tech Radar spoke to a Nintendo rep and was told, "It is definitely out in the spring".
