Dated: European Resident Evil 5 PS3 Demo

Coming one week after 360 version

Capcom Europe has confirmed that the Resident Evil 5 demo coming to the Xbox 360 on January 26th is only a timed exclusive for that platform.

It has stated that the PS3 demo will be available from Monday February 2nd.

As with the Xbox 360 version, Capcom says it will contain, "...three levels of co-op play: single-player with AI support, two-player split-screen on a single PS3 and two-player across PSN."

Capcom also recently announced the limited edition version of Resident Evil 5.

Tim,
Was you able to find out perhaps why the 360 version is a time exclusive since this is only a demo?

I'm only guessing, but I bet it's "money" - specifically Microsoft's money.

Either that or the PSN quality checking process takes slightly longer than the Live! one.

One of the BIGGEST flaws if not THE Biggest flaw of the PSN is the discrimination that the E.U Side gets compared to the customers of U.S/Japan..Take Super Streetfighter 2 HD Remix as a PRIME example!

Discrimination? Never ascribe to malice that which can be adequately explained by incompetence. I think SCEE are just slack in getting thing onto PSN, not actively preventing stuff getting on there.
