PC maker, Lenovo, is introducing its brand new PC - the IdeaCenter A600 - at the forthcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the Las Vegas this month. The PC - pictured to the right - has its monitor built in (like the iMac) but also comes with a remote control that nods towards the Wii.
According to
PC Magazine, "The A600's controller, however, is where Lenovo has hidden its innovation, tying in four key functions: a standard multimedia remote; an air mouse; a motion-sensitive device for gaming, like Nintendo's Wiimote; and (in a first) as a VOIP handset."
The company is is not being backward about claiming Wii ground either. According to Lenovo's director of marketing strategy and programs,
Ninis Samuel, "We have an example of a bowling game [where] you can wave the remote and that actually controls your game".
The starting price is not Wii-ish however; the starting price is $999 (£688).
