Rockstar has put a date to the release date to Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
The game, which features the same Liberty City as that seen in GTA IV, will be out on March 20th over here. DS owners in North America will get it a mite earlier on March 17th.
Earlier today, it looked a little like the game might slip into next summer thanks to its non-appearance on a Nintendo platforms release schedule. It would seem that, as we said, Rockstar simply wanted to make its own song and dance about it.
"Rockstar Leeds have once again created a game that far exceeds our standard for deep and innovative entertainment", uttered Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games, before continuing, "We are incredibly excited to share this enormous and uncompromising Grand Theft Auto experience with DS fans".
We really hope that Sam Hauser didn't say that, but merely said to his PR person, "Yeah, fuck it, send that corporate nonsense and put my name to it". Because it just doesn't read as if it fell from the lips of a man responsible for the edgiest game of... ever™. Frankly, it's as if the blokes from Slipknot said, "We're incredibly excited to have signed this deal with Revlon that enables us to share the Slipknot experience with our fanbase going forward!"
