Keeper Stops Ronaldinho - Credits PlayStation

Also Torres addicted to gaming...

The PlayStation playing keeper.
The PlayStation playing keeper.
Marco Amelia is the goalkeeper for Italian Serie A football team Palermo. On Sunday he faced two penalty kicks from one-time greatest player ever, Ronaldinho, who was playing for AC Milan.

Amelia saved the first pen and put his stop down to a game console, "It was like playing against Ronaldinho on the Playstation. He did the exact same run-up, it was very strange".

That was the first half though. The keeper didn't do so well with the buck-toothed Brazilian's next spot-kick and Milan went on to lose the game 3-1.

In other footy/game-related news, Liverpool's constantly injured, blonde, Spanish wonder-kid Fernando Torres is apparently 'addicted' to PlayStation. MCV reports Click Liverpool stating that, "He even has three duplicates of all his favourite games on the PlayStation and Xbox 360 including Pro Evo Soccer, Grand Theft Auto IV and Halo 3."

Hold on, "addicted to PlayStation" but he has a copy of Halo 3? How can you call that an addiction?

You are darned right. Fancy Milan losing? It doesn't make sense, it's almost like Chelsea losing... but not as funny as Bristol City losing.

Also, to make up for that faux pass (geddit?) there's some additional footy/video game-related news added to the story featuring a Scouse Spaniard.

Ola our kid!
