It's been all go at the Nintendo 'Get things trade-marked' offices of late with some 40 new IPs entered into the Japanese trademark database for the DS and DSi.
While a great deal of these will be for protection purposes only, a few leap out as very, very potential indeed. At the top of the list is a threat to Sony's PSP (and maybe even the
apparently soon-to-be-dominant Apple iPhone), DSiMovie.
Also challenging to the iPhone (given the DS's install base and our total guestimate) are: DSiMail and DSPhone.
Although there's a heap of possibly never-to-be-seen titles in there, a final one made us look a little askance: DSiStation. What on earth would that be having a pop at?
