Activision spends another seven days at the top of the Charts this week, with
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed once again proving the power of the Dark Side (and dropping TIE Fighters on folk's heads). It rounds out a Top 3 that's exactly the same as last week, despite suffering a 38% drop in sales.
There are only two new entries to the Top 10 include Disney Interactive's
Pure for the PS3 and 360, which does a crazy off-road trick (with a name that we're not cool enough to know) into the Number 8 spot.
The other enters the fray at Number 4, and is Ubisoft's
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway for PS3 and 360, just 2,250 sales behind
Mario Kart. Maybe if crooks hadn't
done a runner with £600,000-worth of
Hell's Highway stock, it might have jumped past it...
Wii Fit sits once again at Number 2, benefiting from its third best week in sales thus far with a 75% jump on last week. Right behind it once again is
Mario Kart Wii, which sees a 26% sales spike.
EA is left with only one Top 10 title this week.
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames has dropped from Number 6 to Number 11, while
Warhammer Online has dropped from Number 4 to Number 13 and
Spore has dropped from Number 10 down to Number 14. That leaves
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 to represent EA, down one place to Number 5.
Meanwhile, Namco Bandai/Atari's
Wii Fit-alike,
Family Trainer, hits the Charts at Number 20.
Oh, and the games industry is still on course to end, as
Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games sits well outside the Top 10 at Number 16.
Next week, watch out for
FIFA 09 and... actually, that's about it. What more do you want?
