EA and Sony Say Retail is Burnt Out
If you live in the USA - and many people do if television and movies are anything to judge by - and you haven't bought Burnout Paradise for the PS3 (in which case, you have no soul) - then you are in for a pleasant surprise.

EA and Sony are to release it, and all its various download add-ons to date for $29.99 in the Autumn. Not the Fall, but the Autumn.

These updates include: three new game modes, new cars and 70 new multi-part challenges, extending the game with hours of new game play.

According to EA, "The download pack also introduces a live news page where players can track their game progress and find out news on upcoming online multiplayer events."

So, basically, it's the budget release that goes straight down the wire, bypassing bricks and mortar retail of a Triple-A title. Whatever next.
