Ever wanted to wield your Guitar Hero axe like an orc? Do you even know what that means? Well, you can do something along those lines as of today, because Activision has got together with Blizzard to release a World of Warcraft track through Guitar Hero III.
If you're thinking 'what the hell kind of track is there from WoW that they could release through Guitar Hero?', SPOnG sympathises. The answer is I am Murloc from Blizzard's house band, the ingeniously-named Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain. It's a tribute to those lovely fishy people with the pointy teeth and comes with thrash-metal stylings.

Just over two weeks ago Activision filed the definitive proxy statement with the Securities and Exchanges Commission. If you don't speak financial, that's a statement detailing all information relevant to the merger that must be passed on to shareholders before they vote on the merger. An Activision shareholder meeting will be held on July 8th to discuss and vote on whether the transaction will go ahead.
