As Friday has followed Thursday, so we have new content available for download on the Wii. With WiiWare having launched, however, it's not a Virtual Console release that Nintendo wants us to know about, but
Actionloop Twist, a fresh title on the non-retro service.
Actionloop Twist first saw release on the DS as plain old
Actionloop over here. It's a puzzle game that involves ridding the screen of magnetic gemstones before they escape players' reach. Previously played using the DS touch screen and stylus, the game has been adapted to work through twisting the Wii Remote. It also enables players to bring their Mii into the equation.
The game includes a 'QuickPlay' mode for one or two gamers, 'Challenge Mode' and a 'Quest Mode', where Nintendo tells us "every level brings a new way to play". Also included is a four player mode in which gamers can either team up or compete to see who has the best gem-flicking skillz.
You can get it for 1,000 Wii Points. For more on the DS version, head
