Nathan Hale only has 19 hours to live. That's what this teaser trailer for Resistance 2, courtesy of the game's developer, Insomniac, tells us. Fortunately, 19 hours sounds like plenty of time to enjoy a shoot-'em -up that also boasts multi-player for 60.
Insomniac has also given us a progress report. Here's what James Stevenson, the developer's community relations manager, has to tell us:
"Right now we’re play-testing 60-player multiplayer and eight-player co-op daily, while tweaking sections of our single-player levels. Needless to say, the game is rapidly progressing and every time we play there are new assets and tech going in."
The trailer below, dubbed It Begins, dishes up hints at where the game's story is heading for us to mull over.
multi-player for 60, JEEES 16 on halo 3 can get a bit chaotic!
its looking like this may be better than the original, which is good for me as i wasnt totally impressed with the orginal.

Depends on the levels, obv, 32-player Warhawk is not too chaotic because you can only get up to those numbers on the largest maps.

not sure im going to like 60 much either! im one of those people who takes a disliking to one particular person, be it for their name/look/way they killed me, then proceeds to get maximum enjoyment from killing them as many times as possible. so if theres 60, the scope for that is limited and it becomes more of a mindless kill fest.
